Who we are

This website is operated by Cloudworks Ltd (“Cloudworks”, “we”, “us”), the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

What data we collect

When you use the contact form on this site, we collect:

• The details you provide — your name, email address, company (optional) and the contents of your message.
• Your IP address, collected automatically when you submit the form. We use it only to rate-limit abuse and to run the anti-spam check; it is not used to build a profile of you.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this site. The only thing stored in your browser is what is strictly necessary for the anti-spam check described below.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), namely:

• to read and respond to your enquiry and correspond with you about it; and
• to keep the website secure and prevent spam and automated abuse.

Providing your details is voluntary, but we cannot reply to an enquiry without at least a name, an email address and your message.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers (“processors”) that help us run the contact form:

• Resend — delivers the enquiry email to us. It processes the details you submit in order to send that message.
• Cloudflare Turnstile— a privacy-friendly “are you human?” check that helps block automated spam. It processes your IP address and limited technical data for that purpose.

These providers may process data outside the EEA. Where they do, that transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and then for a reasonable period for our records, after which it is deleted. Security data such as IP addresses used for rate-limiting is short-lived and not retained long term.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• ask us to erase your data, or restrict how we use it;
• object to our processing based on legitimate interests; and
• ask for a copy of your data in a portable format, where applicable.

To exercise any of these, email info@cloudworks.ltd. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your EU member state.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
